Step 1: DISCOVER SCUBA DIVING - £15
Initially we like you to come along to take a Discover Scuba Diving lesson or ‘Try Dive’. This allows you to experience scuba diving and decide whether you wish to continue on to the PADI Open Water Diver course.

Without commitment, this also gives you a chance to see our facilities, meet some of the Diverse Scuba dive team and have an informal chat, where we shall be happy to answer any questions you may have. |
Step 2: PADI OPEN WATER DIVER COURSE
The PADI Open Water Diver course consists of three sections:
- 1. Theory – Home Study and Classroom
- 2. Confined Water training – Pool
- 3. Open Water – Four Open Water dives
Option 1: The PADI Open Water Diver Course - £495
What's included:
- 2 Nights Bed & Breakfast accomodation for the Open Water weekend
- PADI Crew Pack ( knowledge workbooks, dive planner & divers log book )
- Confined Water Lessons ( all pool training with necessary dive kit )
- Classroom Sessions
- Four Open Water completion dives
- Kit Hire / Air Fills
- PADI Registration and Certification Card
Option 2: The PADI Open Water Diver Course - £460
What's included:
- As per Option 1 but hotel accommodation not included. You will be required to
make your own accommodation arrangements or travel each day to Stoney Cove.

For Options 1 & 2 the open water dives are arranged on set weekends throughout the year, usually the first weekend of each month from May through to October and are organised with us at Stoney Cove in Leicestershire. You will need to arrange your own transport although it is usually possible to share transport with other students. For further details please see the Stoney Cove Information page. |
Option 3: The PADI Open Water Diver Referral - £265
What's included:
- PADI Crew Pack ( knowledge workbooks, dive planner & divers log book )
- Confined Water Lessons ( all pool training with necessary dive kit )
- Classroom Sessions
On successful completion of your confined water training and classroom work we issue you with a PADI Referral Card and your dive log book where you have the option to arrange your four Open Water completion dives at a PADI registered centre of your choice, for example when you go on holiday abroad. We shall be happy to advise.
We organise regular diving holidays abroad where you may choose to join us and complete your course with Diverse Scuba.
As we have the luxury of our own on site indoor heated pool we are able to offer courses every evening from Monday to Thursday, start time 7.00pm. By special arrangement and an additional cost of £50 we can arrange your confined water training at the weekend. You will need to collect your crewpacks, knowledge workbooks etc. at least two weeks in advance of attending for the weekend. You will need to attend both Saturday & Sunday from 10:30 am to approx 4:30pm.

You will be asked to complete a medical questionnaire and should you need to answer YES to any of the questions on the form you will need to obtain medical clearance from your Doctor or Consultant prior to booking.
