PADI DIVER PROPULSION VEHICLE

Diver Propulsion Vehicles offer a thrilling way to see a lot of underwater territory in a brief amount of time. They scoot you through the water without kicking. Whether making a shore dive or diving from a boat, a DPV is a great way to see more and have a great time doing it.

During the programme, you'll cover the knowledge and techniques used when diving with an underwater propulsion vehicle.

What do I need to start?

PADI Open Water Diver or Junior Open Water Diver certification
(or qualifying certification from another organisation)

Minimum Age: 12 years

What will I Learn?

Diver propulsion vehicle dive planning organisation, procedures, techniques, problems and hazards
Equipment considerations
Diver etiquette and how to avoid harming fragile aquatic life

How long will it take?

Minimum Open Water Training: 2 dives over one day
1 x Knowledge review session
