DIVERSE SCUBA - Speciality Courses

PADI SEARCH & RECOVERY DIVER

Course Fee - £125.00

Includes: PADI Certification, 4 Dives

Have you ever dropped something in the water? Are you looking for lost “treasure”? The PADI Search and Recovery Diver Specialty course will teach you effective ways to find objects underwater and bring them to the surface. Small, large or just awkward, there is a way to bring them up.

This is one of the most useful PADI specialty courses on offer, and after completion it will prove to be a valuable asset time and time again.

What do I need to start?

PADI Advanced or Junior Advanced O/Water Diver certification
(or qualifying scuba diving certification from another organisation)

PADI Open Water Diver or Junior Open Water Diver and PADI Underwater Navigation certifications
(or qualifying scuba diving certification from another organisation)

Minimum Age: 12 years

What will I Learn?

Search and recovery dive planning, organisation, procedures, techniques and how to deal with potential problems
How to locate large and small objects using search patterns
How to use a lift bag and other recovery methods
Limited visibility search techniques

How long will it take?

Minimum Open Water Training: 4 dives over two days
1 x Knowledge review session
