The PADI Underwater Videography course teaches you the best techniques to get excellent footage whilst maintaining control, buoyancy and ensuring safe diving. The course covers all aspects of using a video camera including set-up, maintenance, shot composition and basic video editing, giving fantastic results.

  • PADI Open Water Diver or Junior Open Water Diver certification
    (or qualifying certification from another organisation)
  • Minimum Age: 10 years
  • The PADI Underwater Videographer Specialty course shows you how to create videos that are interesting, entertaining and worth watching again and again.

  • Selecting, maintaining and caring for your underwater video equipment
  • Videography fundamentals, such as exposure, focus, shot types, moves, story line & shot sequencing
  • The post-dive editing process where you take your raw footage and create an underwater masterpiece
  • By the time you complete the course, you’ll have gone through the entire basic video production process.

    PADI programs are performance based. You proceed as you demonstrate mastery of the course skills. This allows you to work at a pace that is comfortable for you.

  • Minimum Open Water Training: 3 dives over two days
  • 1 x Knowledge review session
